Activity tracking on my oura ain’t good.  Plus I like seeing my BPM

That’s not true.  Mine detects workouts and suggests I confirm/label them (it will suggest likely activities based on history and sensors).  

Eg. I never proactively turn on activity tracking, but after a long walk, run or bike ride, it will ask me to confirm the activity, usually with the correct one suggested for quick selection.

IMO oura is a poor activity tracker because you need to go into your phone and open the app, turn on activity tracking. 
I like how it syncs with my Apple Watch data tho.
